    The Work includes the following major items: removal of the existing roofing system (including insulation) down to the existing 3-inch steel deck; installation of SBS-modified vapor barrier set in coldply adhesive over new mechanically fastened cement board; installation of new polyisocyanurate (R-30) insulation, cover board, drainage crickets and sumps, mopped in hot asphalt; installation of 4-ply built-up asphalt roofing membrane with SBS-modified cap sheet with bright white granular surfacing, the replacement of existing 6-inch roof drains and overflow drains with cast iron drains with stainless steel hardware, installation of continuous vapor barrier at the top of the exterior walls to separate the pool space from the exterior soffit space, replacement of deteriorated soffit framing.
