Canyon Road Gully Stabilization

The Town of Colchester is seeking separate sealed BIDS for the Canyon Road Gully Stabilization Project. The project involves building a temporary access road, filling and placing rock in the gully, and installing a new concrete structure. Bids will be received by: Alex Kubala, Town of Colchester, 781 Blakely Road, Colchester, VT 05446 until 9:00am on Friday April 24 ^th , 2026, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

Each BID must be accompanied by a certified check payable to the OWNER for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. A BID bond may be used in lieu of a certified check.

A Performance BOND and a Payment BOND each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required. (40 CFR §31.36(h))

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for prospective bidders will be held at 9:00am on Tuesday April 14 ^th , 2026 at 349 Canyon Road, Colchester VT. Given the complexity of the site, it is highly encouraged that prospective bidders attend the pre-bid meeting. Questions regarding the Bid are due by end of day on Friday April 17 ^th 2026. An interpretation of the questions regarding the bid will be returned by end of day on Monday April 20 ^th , 2026.
