Cannon Drive Water Main Replacement

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Social Circle, Georgia, for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for the Cannon Drive Water Main Replacement. The City of Social Circle is located in southwest Walton County.

Bids will be received at the City of Social Circle, Attention: Robbie Groves, 166 North Cherokee Road, Social Circle, GA 30025 until 2:00 p.m. local time on Friday, November 14, 2025. Any bids received after said time and date of bid opening will not be considered by Owner. Bids will be publicly opened and only the names of the respondents will be read aloud at 2:10 p.m. local time on Friday, November 14, 2025 at the of Social Circle City Hall, 166 North Cherokee Road, Social Circle, GA 30025. All bids will be evaluated by the City of Social Circle and the project will be awarded, if it is awarded, within 45 days of the bid opening.

A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid shall be required. In lieu of a bid bond, a cashier's check, cash or an irrevocable letter of credit may be accepted. Both a performance and payment bond will be required in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Proof of workers compensation and liability insurance will be required with the Walton County Board of Commissioners named as additional insured.

The successful contractor must provide proof of workers compensation and liability insurance with the City of Social Circle named as additional insured. The successful bidder shall provide performance and payment bonds at 100% of the total contract value. The City of Social Circle reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids
