Description:

The goals of the CAP outreach and education campaign are to: (1) raise awareness of the appellations of origin program among cannabis cultivators, consumers, local officials, and industry members; (2) educate stakeholders on how to petition for an appellation of origin; (3) inform consumers about the benefits of products designated with an appellation of origin; and (4) strengthen relationships between the department and local jurisdictions to support program expansion.
