Erosion Control Improvements
Sealed Bids for the construction of the proposed Erosion Control Improvements will be received, by Candler County Board of Commissioners, at the office of the Candler County Board of Commissioners located at 1075 East Hiawatha St, Suite A, Metter, Georgia 30439, until [1:30 P.M.] local time on [June 20, 2025], at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of construction and implementation of the proposed Erosion Control Improvements at the Candler County S.R. 121 Phase 2 MSW Landfill.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Hodges, Harbin, Newberry & Tribble, Inc., 12 East Grady Street, Suite B, Statesboro, Georgia 30458. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Upon request, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via email in a sharefile folder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered as the Bidder¿s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
A pre-bid conference will be held at [10:00 A.M.] local time on [June 3, 2025] at the [Candler County Landfill office located at 842 Landfill Road, Metter, GA 30439]. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required
