Campus Window Cleaning & High Dusting Services

Project Description: This Invitation for Bids (IFB) provides interested suppliers with sufficient information to prepare and submit bids for consideration by Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education (State System) to provide West Chester University of Pennsylvania (WCU, University) with cost effective, as needed (“on call”) window cleaning and high surface dusting services for facilities on our main campus. This contract covers maintenance and restoration window cleaning (interior partitions included when requested) and high surface dusting (HSD) of elevated architectural/mechanical elements. Work is ordered as required; no minimum quantity or frequency is guaranteed. The services of a qualified offeror to provide The State System is requesting firm, fixed pricing for year (1) of the five (5) contract.
This IFB will result in a multiple participation award contract, which is the first step in a two-step procurement process. Successful placement on the award list provides eligible offerors with the ability to provide the services on an as needed basis. It is not guaranteed that WCU will request the offeror to provide the services. The second step involves the solicitation of a written quotation for each project.
It is proposed that if a contract is entered as a result of this bid, it will be a five (5) year contract.
