Western Carolina University is soliciting qualifications for design services to replace University fire alarm communications with a networked Edwards Systems Technology (EST), FireWorks Management Platform with centralized monitoring and offsite reporting capabilities. This project is to transition from current communications that utilize copper telephone lines to an existing campus fiber optic network. The University is comprised with EST fire alarm systems across various residence halls, academic and administrative buildings, along with athletic and support facilities.
