Cambridge Housing Authority – Request for Proposal for Construction Management Services For the Redevelopment of Corcoran Park Phase 1 Re-Bid

The Cambridge Housing Authority, acting as Owner’s Project Manager for the Cambridge Affordable Housing Corp (“Owner” or “Awarding Authority”), is requesting proposals for Construction Management Services for Project 1301 Redevelopment of Corcoran Park Phase 1 (“The Project”). The Owner intends to award contract for Construction Manager Services with a Guaranteed Maximum Price contract for the above referenced project.

This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is issued pursuant to Chapter 268 of the Acts of 2022, which enables alternative procurement methodology for public housing redevelopment. The Project is NOT subject to MGL. Ch. 149/149a and does not require formal prequalification or filed sub-bidding. Bidders must solicit participation of qualified subcontractors, subject to final approval by the Owner.

This letter and the RFP package follow the Federal Competitive Proposals Process (2 CFR § 200.320(b)(2)). While price will be the most significant consideration, this process allows the Owner to consider experience and technical proposals, selecting the offeror whose price and technical factors are the most advantageous to the Owner.
