NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by SKAGIT COUNTY that sealed bids will be received and publicly opened in the Commissioners’ Hearing Room, 1800 Continental Place, Mount Vernon, WA 98273 on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the hour of 1:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible.

All bid envelopes must be plainly marked on the outside, “Sealed Bid, Skagit River Marblemount Bridge Project #ES40070-5”. Sealed bids shall be received by one of the following delivery methods before Monday, April 21, 2025, at the hour of 1:00 P.M. Proposals are to be submitted on the forms provided in the Bid Proposal Packet. Incomplete proposals and proposals received after the time fixed for the opening cannot be considered. Oral, telephonic, telegraphic, electronic, or faxed proposals will not be accepted. All bidding shall be based upon compliance with the Contract Provisions and Plans.

All technical questions regarding this project are to be submitted no later than 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 2, 2025 in writing to Devin Willard, Project Manager, or by e-mail to dwillard@co.skagit.wa.us with the subject line reading, “Skagit River Marblemount Bridge Project #ES40070-5”. All project specific questions and response to answers for this project will be available on-line as received. All Addenda will be posted on-line for this project by 12:00 p.m. April 7, 2025. If further Addenda are required to be issued, the bid opening may be postponed.

Contractors who download plans and specifications are advised to e-mail bethanyz@co.skagit.wa.us to be added to plan holders list to receive any addenda that may be issued.
