Sealed bids will be received at the Douglas County Public Services Building, 140 19th St. NW, Suite A,

East Wenatchee, WA 98802 until 10:00 AM Pacific Time, on Monday, January 5, 2026, at which time

all bids received will be publicly opened and read in the Hearing Room as soon thereafter as the matter

may be heard for:

This Contract provides for crushing and stockpiling Crushed Surfacing Top Course in Stockpile,

Crushed Surfacing Base Course in Stockpile, Crushed Screening 3/8 to No. 10 in Stockpile,

Crushed Screening 1/2 to No. 4 in Stockpile, and Pit-run all in accordance with the attached

Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.

Qualifications:
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid shall accompany all bids. All bids shall be marked “Sealed
Bid for 2025 Countywide Crushing, ER25 TO BE OPENED ON Monday, January 5, 2026 AT 10:00
AM PST” on the outside of the envelope. Sealed bids may not be submitted by facsimile or other
electronic or data transmission.
Special Requirements:
Complete digital project bidding documents are available at the Douglas County webpage at
www.douglascountywa.net under the Government Bids tab. A hard copy can also be obtained from the
Douglas County Public Services Building location. A $50.00 fee (plus postage if necessary),
NONREFUNDABLE, is required for a hard copy of the project bidding documents.

Douglas County, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C.
2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in
any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be
afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be
discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
