California Underground Storage Tank (UST) certified operator

The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District is seeking Proposals for California Underground Storage Tank (UST) certified operator . Proposals are to be submitted through the Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/lvmwd , no later than November 20th, 2025.

The selected contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supervision, and equipment necessary to perform the following tasks in a professional and timely manner:

A. Fuel System Maintenance and Support

• Perform routine maintenance and repair services for the District’s fuel system components, including pumps, dispensers, hoses, filters, day tanks and monitoring equipment.
• Conduct annual testing, calibration, and inspection of dispensing systems to ensure compliance with all State and local requirements.
• Provide emergency response and repair services within 24 hours of notification by the District.
• Maintain a log of all inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed.
• Provide documentation of all inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed.

B. Compliance, Documentation, Certification and Testing

• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including California Underground Storage Tank (UST) and Air Quality Management District (AQMD) requirements.
• Maintain current Hazardous Materials Business Plans (HMBPs) and ensure compatibility with District procedures.
• Provide copies of all certifications, permits, and compliance documents upon request.
• Leak detection system certification.
• Secondary containment testing.
• Overfill protection testing.
