Caledonia Comm Schools - Asbestos Abatement Prior to Flooring Renovations at Duncan Lake Early Childhood Center

This project will be completed in July 2026, prior to building renovation activities and will include the removal and disposal of all asbestos floor tile, non-asbestos floor tile mastic, and non-asbestos carpet materials.

Bids will be RECEIVED until 11:00 A.M. local time Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

The OPENING of the bids will take place at that time.

All bids shall be accompanied by a sworn statement, in accordance with MCL 380.1267, disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner(s) or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of the School District or the Superintendent of the School District.

All bids shall be accompanied by a sworn statement, in accordance with MCL 129.313, certifying that the bidder is not an Iran linked business.

The Board of Education shall not accept a bid that does not include sworn and notarized copies of the familial relationship disclosure statement and affidavit of compliance with the Iran Sanction Act.

Caledonia Community Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part or to waive any informalities or irregularities that may be in the best interest of the School District.

UPCOMING PRE-BID EXAMINATION

Arch Environmental Group, Inc. is announcing the availability of asbestos abatement specifications for upcoming work for Caledonia Community Schools – Bid No. 26.01 – Asbestos Abatement Prior to Flooring Renovations at Duncan Lake Early Childhood Center.  A Mandatory Pre-Bid Examination is scheduled for 4:00 P.M. local time, Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Duncan Lake Early Childhood Center, 9751 Duncan Lake Avenue, Caledonia, MI 49316.  Contractors will meet with representatives from Arch Environmental Group, Inc. at the Main Entrance to Duncan Lake Early Childhood Center.  The pre-bid examination will be conducted in the Media Center or a classroom.  After review of the project specification, we will have a walkthrough of the facility.  Contractors are encouraged to accompany Arch Environmental Group, Inc. on site for walk through to review proposed work at Duncan Lake Early Childhood Center.
