Project Description:

2        Alkaline Detergent 55 gallon drum.

Delivery of 2 drums delivered the week of August 4, 2026 to the Kakaako facility.

1        Acid washing detergent 30 gallon drum.

Delivery of 1 drum delivered the week of August 4, 2026 to the Kakaako facility.

1        Acid Neutralizer 30 gallon drum

Delivery of 1 drum delivered the week of August 4, 2026 to the Kakaako facility.

1        Alkaline Detergent 30 gallon drum.

Delivery of 1 drum delivered the week of August 4, 2026 to the Manoa facility.

1        Acid washing detergent 30 gallon drum.

Delivery of 1 drum delivered the week of August 4, 2026 to the Manoa facility.

Special Instructions

Item Specifications:

Alkaline detergent must have a working pH between 7 and 10 and not contain potassium
and/or sodium hydroxide. Alkaline detergent must also have a color indicator.

All cage washer chemicals must be made for use across all temperatures, from 65 to 210
degrees Fahrenheit, and be safe for all material substrates, plastics, soft metals,
rubber, glass, and stainless steel.

Delivery:

Please note that the delivery and service dates are critical, and the purchase order will
be cancelled if the times are not met. Before bid is awarded, vendor may be asked to send a
confirmation listing the ship dates of all deliveries.

Quantity:

Quantity is based on an estimated need and may be subject to change. In the event that
quantities shown do not materialize, such failure shall not constitute grounds for equitable
adjustment. The University reserves the right to revise the quantity ordered for the purchase order, and
the Offeror agrees to furnish and deliver the revised quantity at the unit price quoted
herein.

Bid:

Bid must be for ALL items listed below and include any/all applicable shipping costs (FOB
destination) and any/all applicable taxes.

Quarterly cage wash chemical pump servicing and maintenance for the Kakaako and Manoa
facilities, performed by a contractor approved by the customer, must be included in the bid costs.
Written reports must be provided to the customer within two (2) weeks of the service visit.

Other:

If quotation exceeds $2,500, vendor must furnish proof of compliance with the requirements
of 103D-310(c) HRS by presenting a Certificate of Vendor Compliance (Hawaii Compliance
Express http://vendors.ehawaii.gov/).

If vendor is compliant but has not done business with the University of Hawaii or have not
done business after July 1, 2012, you may be required to submit a Form W-9 per University
policy.
