CAFETERIA SPACE AVAILABLE IN STATE BUILDING ±1,400/SF

The California Department of General Services (DGS) on behalf of the Department of Corrections
and Rehabilitation (CDCR), collectively referred to as State, invites you to review and welcomes
proposals for the cafeteria space located at Wasco State Prison (WSP).

The State is interested in leasing to a cafeteria operator that:

a. Places CDCR satisfaction as a priority in food quality, pricing, and menu selection.
b. Made to order, live food service.
c. Cash and cashless payment options.
d. Vendor¿s commitment to providing reasonably priced breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks,
beverages, and grab-n-go items daily.
e. Variety of healthy, fresh, and nutritious food.
f. Ensure that the employees of CDCR consistently receive a variety of high-quality food
and excellent customer-oriented service.
g. Ease of access, i.e., Ability for employees to order ahead by phone. Ability to order
ahead via the internet and ability to place orders for pickup utilizing a phone application
is desired, but not a requirement.
h. Option and ability for catered services but not required.
i. Weekly specials.
j. Utilizes and provides these key and unique menu factors:
¿ Gluten free options available.
¿ Wrap and salad options available.
¿ Utilization of free-range eggs.
¿ Reduced trans-fat and sodium menu options.
k. Provides quality dining options for all visitors conducting business, guests, and staff.
l. Provides professional and hospitable services within a pleasant environment.
m. Establishes and maintains control over all aspects of the foodservice operation.
n. Works closely with the State¿s staff to quickly and effectively resolve all issues.
