Cabin Road Treatment Plant Upgrades Scope of Work Summary: Selective demolition work as indicated below or shown on the Drawings. 1.        For Existing Filters 1 and 2- (Presently off-line) a. Remove and dispose of the concrete ballast in the lower portion of the vessels. b. Remove and dispose of existing PVC underdrain system inside the vessels. c.        Remove filter face process piping only as indicated on drawings. d.        Construct new flanged piping connections as indicated on drawings. e. Provide interior and exterior coating system on filters (See Section 09-901) f. Pressure test filter vessels. f. Other items as shown on the Drawings. 2.        For Existing Filters 3, 4 and 5- (Presently On-line) a. Once work on Filters 1 and 2 have been completed, and are back on-line, schedule taking off-line one at a time filters 3, 4 and 5 for improvements including existing media removal, modifications to underdrains, installation of new air distribution piping and new filter media replacement.
