Electronic Bids are not allowed for these projects. Bids are to be delivered to City Of Tampa –
CAD, 306 E Jackson Street 280A4N, Tampa, Florida 33602. Bids delivered in person should be
handed to the Officer at the First Floor Security Desk.
Physical bids will be received no later than 1:30 p.m. at the above address on the indicated Bid
Date for the following Project(s):
CONTRACT NO.: 26-C-00026 Tampa Convention Center Switchgear Modernization
BID OPENING: 1:30PM, Tuesday, October 13, 2026 ; ESTIMATE: $16,000,000 SCOPE:
Furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, permits, commissioning, warranties,
bonds, and incidentals required for the modernization of the main breaker and fourteen (14)
low-voltage switchboards and three medium voltage switches (dependent on field verification)
of the Tampa Convention Center, including: building improvements, mechanical conditioning,
sealing, and fire rating required to protect the modernized equipment with all associated work
required for a complete project in accordance with the Contract Documents.
PREBID CONFERENCE AND INITIAL SITE VISIT: 9:00AM September 21, 2026, at 211 S Franklin St.
Tampa Fl 33602 in the Hospitality Room located near the Channel Street entrance.
Subsequent site visits will be available September 22-25 by appointment only. Contact Abed
