Sealed bids will be accepted by the Department of Parks and Recreation until the following date and time, at the following location.

Date: May 13, 2025 Time: 2:00 PM Location: Santa Cruz District Office, 303 Big Trees Park Road, Felton, CA 95018

At the above time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read for furnishing services, material, or equipment, or to perform all work required to:

The Contractor will provide the Department of Parks and Recreation (State Parks) Transportation Services to minimize the number of cars driving into and through Big Basin Redwoods State Park as there are limited available parking areas. Service will be provided Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends on weekends and State recognized Holidays for the length of the contract which will span from 2025 to 2027.

Contract is being rebid due to a previous clerical error.

Service Location: Big Basin Redwoods State Park, 21600 Big Basin Way, Boulder Creek CA 95006

Proposed route will go from the Saddle Mountain Facility near the Entrance to Big Basin Redwoods State Park (Future Park Welcome Center) and end at the site of the former Visitor¿s Center/Park Headquarters

The anticipated performance period of this two-year contract is: 05/23/2025 (Or upon DPR approval whichever is later) to 12/31/2027 with service on holidays and weekends only between Memorial and Labor Day. State reserves the right to extend or reduce those periods as needed.

Estimate for Services: $35,000 per year, for a total contract amount of $105,000.00.
