This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes.
The contractor shall provide sizing, tailoring, and delivery of 6 sets of Honeywell First Responder Products-Morning Pride Brand turnout pants and turnout coats in accordance with the specifications requested by the Lyons Fire Department. All materials, features, closures, pockets, and cosmetics will be inspected for accuracy and proper fit will be checked prior to acceptance. See attached quote from Skylands Area Fire Equipment and Training (SAFE-T) for specifications. No alterations to the specifications will be accepted without consent of the Lyons Fire Department for fear of jeopardizing the safety of firefighters and reducing the cost effectiveness of the government s investment.

The purchase of, sizing of, and delivery of the product cannot be subcontracted by a vendor, corporation, or entity whom is not an authorized retailer of Honeywell First Responder Products by the date of award.
