Invitation To Bid On: BVRC South Field Maintenance Building – Phase 4

Closing Time: Thursday, April 16, 2026, 10:00 A.M. CST

Blue Valley Recreation Commission (BVRC) is accepting sealed bids for the South Field Maintenance Building – Phase 4 project. Bids will be received by the BVRC Facilities Manager at the Sports Complex (9701 W. 137th Street, Overland Park, KS 66221), until 10:00 A.M. CDT, on Thursday, April 16, 2026. The bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud at the Sports Complex at 2:00 P.M. April 16, 2026. Sealed bids should be addressed to Jim Hook, Facility Manager, at the address above and marked “South Field Maintenance Building: Phase 4.” The Owner will consider the bids received for the furnishing of said labor, materials and equipment necessary for the proper construction of the aforesaid project.

This project includes a mandatory Pre Bid Conference held on April 1, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the job site.

The Project will consist of the construction of an addition to the existing south field maintenance building with an expanded covered exterior storage area, multiple overhead doors, and all related site improvements at the South Fields Complex on the south side of 137th Street in Overland Park, Kansas. These new improvements will include, but are not limited to, erosion and sediment control, storm drainage improvement, concrete paving, unit masonry, carpentry, and electrical work.

Contractors desiring the Contract Documents for use in preparing bids may also obtain a set of such documents from Drexel Technologies (314-872-0900). Bidding documents will be shipped only if the requesting party assumes responsibility for all related charges. Corporate, certified, or cashier’s checks shall be made payable to Drexel Technologies, Inc..

Blue Valley Recreation Commission (BVRC) reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities as it determines to be in the best interest of Blue Valley Recreation Commission (BVRC).
