Butler Springs Erosion Control

The project site is located at Butler Springs Park, 301 Butler Springs Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29615. Butler Springs Park is a 10-acre public recreational facility situated in the East North Street/Pelham Road area, featuring tennis courts, a walking trail, picnic pavilion, playground, and lighted athletic fields. The contractor shall take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of the public and prevent damage to County property, park facilities, utilities, and infrastructure during construction activities.

The work consists of erosion mitigation off the embankment above athletic field #1, stabilization and repair at the storm drain outfall, and remediation of the sinkhole condition, all as specified in the plans and specifications provided by Davis & Floyd. All work must be coordinated to minimize disruption to park operations and public access to recreational facilities.
