Bus Stop Label Printers, Parts and Printing Supplies

The Passenger Facilities Unit of the Division of Transit Services maintains over 5,400 bus stops across the County to ensure legible information via bus destination labels so that the commuting public has accurate information on the availability of their local bus service.

SCOPE OF SERVICES ITEM 1 - This specification covers the supply and maintenance of new and/or existing Brady Multicolor Safety Sign and Label Printers with XY Cutter and required Software for the printing and affixing of bus routes and destination labels on bus stop aluminum sign blanks. Such equipment should be equivalent to BradyPrinter S3100 Sign and Label Printer with Workstation Safety and Facility ID Software. ITEM 2 – Printer materials to include indoor/outdoor suitable vinyl labels and ribbons: A. Vinyl labels – 4in X 100ft & 2.25in X 100ft with individual colors of clear, white, blue; of durable, low-shrink vinyl with adhesive that will uniformly and reliably affix to vinyl coated aluminum metal sign blanks. B. Ribbons – 4.33in X 200ft one color, white; smear-proof compatible with printers and vinyl labels, suitable for outdoor and industrial use, offering a high performance image with strong solvent and scratch resistance
