Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking a qualified vendor to develop a two-year Bus Maintenance Apprenticeship Program that aligns with ASE-Transit Bus requirements for certification. WMATA seeks to build, train, and grow its internal bus maintenance workforce with qualified technicians through its two-year technical skills apprenticeship program. The program will allow WMATA to have a consistent pipeline of well-trained, skillful employees entering bus maintenance with an array of skills and knowledge to address the technology growth within the industry.
