REQUEST FOR BIDS IFB #25-26

BUS eV CHARGING STATION, CITY OF ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORATION, CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES

The Central Purchasing Office of the City of Annapolis is accepting sealed bids for construction services until 2:00 p.m., local time, Friday, August 8, 2025. Bids shall be delivered or emailed to the Central Purchasing Office, 161 Duke of Gloucester Street, 1 ^st Floor, Annapolis, Maryland 21401,

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, installation of an eV vehicle charging system. Electrical switch gear, current transducer cabinet and charging system inverter and charging towers equipment provided by owner, City of Annapolis. Public Service provider to provide labor and materials to supply secondary service feeder to location of switch gear and current transducer cabinet.

Interested parties are invited to attend a virtual pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., local time, via Google Meet.

The City of Annapolis reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities as deemed appropriate by the City, to award multiple contracts, and to select the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City.

Qualifications:

Contract must have experience in installation of eV charging systems.

Good standing with the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation.

Special Requirements:

Experience working with Public Service Providers and coordinating with publicly provided services in which are managed by a local government.

Miscellaneous:

Public Service Provider to provide secondary feeders installation and all labor and materials to location of electrial switch gear. Area of proposed limits of construction for contactor within area of low density traffic. Work will be allowed from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Authorization of work may be allowed on weekends as determined by the project manager.
