RE: ADDENDUM #7 - BID NO. 20260494 - BURNT STORE WATER FILTRATION TRAINS REPLACEMENT
BID OPENING DATE: AUGUST 5, 2026, AT 2:00 p.m. (EST)
Bidders are hereby notified that this Addendum shall be made a part of the documents. The intent is to add to, modify, or clarify
the documents. Should any of these items have an effect on price, such changes shall be included in the price bid. These items
have the same force and effect as if contained in the original.
ITEM 1: QUESTION/ANSWER
Q1. Please provide pre-fab metal building as-built drawings. We'd especially like to know who the manufacturer is, so
we can fully understand how to cut and frame new openings in the roof.
A1. Charlotte County Utilities (CCU) will handle the task of installing roof hatches through the County's Facilities Management
Department, prior to the start of this project.
Q2. We took pictures of the electrical switchgear box and VFD but if we could please also have the electrical drawings
of the Motor Control Center Panels that we will be tying into. It would also be helpful to have as-built "plan view"
drawings that show the wiring run from the motors to the MCC.
A2. Attached are diagrams that we have on file.
Q3. Please confirm the power supply to the buildings is sufficient to accommodate for the new pump motors. If it is not
sufficient, please specify what existing power supply is feeding the building from the transformer currently.
A3. Yes, it is not our intention to run all of the Trains at the same time in the near future due to other limitations. We will continue
to run a combination of a maximum of 3 Trains at the same time, as we are currently doing it.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260494. Bidders
are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
