Bidders are hereby notified that this Addendum shall be made a part of the documents. The intent is to add to, modify, or clarify
the documents. Should any of these items have an effect on price, such changes shall be included in the price bid. These items
have the same force and effect as if contained in the original.
ITEM 1: QUESTION/ANSWER
Q1. Please confirm whether the County will issue a Sales Tax Exemption certificate for material purchases associated
with this project.
A1. On page 7 of the bid package, in the Instructions to Bidders section, it states:
IB-24 TAXES: Contractor shall assume liability for Local, State, or Federal Tax that is applicable to the work.
Q2. Please confirm if the three (3) references for the job must be references from the GC/Prime Contractor or if they can
be provided via a subcontractor?
A2. The references must be from the Contractor/Bidder. References cannot be provided via a subcontractor.
Q3. Please clarify if "Builders Risk" insurance is required to be held by the contractor for this project?
A3. Yes. The County's Risk Management department confirmed this insurance requirement for this project.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260494. Bidders
are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
