Building Security

The City of Richmond is soliciting proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiation to provide armed security guard services at various City facilities.

As part of the City’s commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for employees, clients, and visitors, it is essential that proactive measures are in place to protect the City’s assets and personnel across all locations. The City operates in 86 facilities with 32 of these properties requiring security. These 32 sites include critical offices, high-traffic locations, and facilities that house sensitive operations, making them particularly vulnerable to security risks such as unauthorized access, theft, and potential safety threats.
