Building Performance & Electrification Assessments – Continuing Services

Boulder County Building Services (BCBS) is seeking highly qualified engineering firms to enter into a continuing services contract (CSC) with the option to renew for four more one-year terms for the purpose of providing building assessments and decarbonization strategies for Boulder County facilities. The selected firms will become part of a pre-qualified list of Contractors that BCBS may directly request quotes from for phased building assessments. The County intends to evaluate the majority of its building assets for carbon reduction strategies, and a detailed scope of work (SOW) will be provided for each phased SOW.

Services requested in the SOW may include, and are not limited to; ASHRAE Level II Audits, retro-commissioning services, energy modeling, equipment replacement recommendations (eg. gas-to-electric conversions, hybrid electric heating), energy and greenhouse gas reduction calculations, and cost/benefit analysis. No work is guaranteed under the CSC.
