Building Inspection Services

Kenosha County is seeking proposals from certified building inspectors and/or building inspection firms to provide building inspection services. The individual or firm submitting a response to this request should have at least five (5) years of experience providing building inspection services to a municipality or local government. The proposal shall address all Building Inspector duties, including but not limited to the Scope of Services.

Kenosha County is the 8th largest County in the State of Wisconsin with an estimated population of 167,190 residents. While the County has a large overall population, only a portion of those residents are directly served through the building permit process. Current land uses consist primarily of agricultural and residential uses, with several concentrated areas of commercial, industrial, and institutional uses. The County processed 548 building permits in 2024.
