The Government anticipates awarding a single firm fixed price contract in accordance with the procedures outlined in FAR 15.3 – Source Selection.
REQUIREMENT BACKGROUND
Building 101 at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is the main administration building for the NIST Gaithersburg Campus. Building 101 consists of an 11-story administrative office tower and a sprawling first floor and basement level.

The basement level houses the NIST fitness center, badging and security offices, telecommunications suites, and the campus health unit, among other occupancies. This contract is intended to perform the construction services to renovate the A-Wing HVAC Systems of Building 101. Construction services to include abatement, demolition, AHU construction, piping (demolition and install), controls, and testing and balancing.
All work shall be performed at the NIST campus located at 100 Bureau Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20899. The magnitude for this project is estimated to be between $5 Million and $10 Million.
