Building Equipment Repairs - AVCRAD Fresno

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for the Building Equipment Repairs - AVCRAD Fresno located at Corrosion Control Facility and AVCRAD, 5168 E Dakota Avenue, Fresno, CA 93727. Work to include: Inspect, diagnose, repair, and replace components as necessary to restore functionality to the Hankison air dryer, two Flo FAB pumps, and gas valves/elbow at the AVCRAD in Fresno, CA. Additionally, the Contractor shall replace the boost water pump, motor, and associated electrical controls, ensuring full operational capability. All work shall comply with applicable regulations, include quality assurance measures, and be completed within 90 working days post-Notice to Proceed. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov with the subject title BID FOR EVENT# 34272 - DO NOT OPEN.

Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 2/25/2025, at 3:00 PM at Corrosion Control Facility and AVCRAD, 5168 E Dakota Avenue, Fresno, CA 93727. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Sergey Kinchak at Sergey.Kinchak@cmd.ca.gov.

Prospective bidders MUST sign-in prior to the start of the pre-bid job walk, attend the entire pre-bid job walk and be present for roll call at the conclusion of the pre-bid job walk. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk will be considered non-responsive and will not be allowed to bid on this project.

The prime contractor MUST possess a type B - General Building Contractor license, or subcontract to one.

If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening. The bid opening will be held on 3/24/2025 at 2:00 PM.
