SUBJECT: The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) has a requirement - Building 44 Built-up Roof Replacement– USDA, ARS, Charleston, SC.
PROPOSED SOLICITATION NUMBER: 1232SA25R0069

DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall provide all professional services necessary for the accomplishment of the contract project and such required services shall be in accordance with requirements as described herein. Currently, there are four (4) sections of built-up roof replacements needed for this project. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, calculations, safety barriers, and equipment to fulfill the requirements of this statement of work. A complete statement of work will be provided with the solicitation.
MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: The project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000.
SOLICITATION PERIOD: A solicitation is scheduled to release on or about August 18, 2025. Proposals will be due on or about September 19, 2025.
The acquisition will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, Request for Proposal (1232SA25R0069) using the Contract Opportunities on the sam.gov website. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238160; Small Business Size Standard is 19M. Product Service Code (PSC) is Y1JZ. A Bid Guarantee, Performance Bond, and Payment Bond will be required.
It is anticipated that the award will result in a single award firm-fixed price contract.

Site visit is tentatively scheduled for August 28, 2025, at 10:00 am ET. Additional details, including how to register for the site visit, will be provided in the solicitation.
The anticipated period of performance will be 150 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
