ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the construction of the Parthenon Eighth Mile Trail to serve Parthenon, Arkansas will be received by Newton County, Arkansas, until 10:00 a.m. local time on January 7, 2025, located at 100 Court St, Jasper, AR 72641, and then at said office publicly opened and read.
The project consists of the following:
• Build/construct an eighth mile trail
• Build/construct concrete handicap parking area and sidewalks
• Build/construct 40’ x 40’ playground area & equipment
Information for Bidders, Bid Forms, Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications, Bid Bond Form, Performance and Payment Bond Forms, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the office of Engineering Services, Inc.
Printed copies may be obtained at the office of Engineering Services, Inc., 1207 South Old Missouri Road, P.O. Box 282, Springdale, Arkansas 72765, Phone 479-751-8733, upon a nonrefundable payment of One Hundred dollars ($100.00) for each set. Digital copies may be obtained through QuestCDN or through www.engineeringservices.com upon a non-refundable payment of Forty dollars ($40.00).
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount for and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
