BUFFALO SOLDIER TRAIL SHARED USE PATH - FTA FUNDED TR084

The City of Sierra Vista will accept competitive bids from qualified contractors for the Buffalo Soldier Trail Shared Use Path - FTA Funded TR084. The scope of work involves The City of Sierra Vista’s proposed work for this project includes tasks necessary to construct a 10-foot-wide asphaltic concrete shared use path along the east side of Buffalo Soldier Trail from Golf Links Road to Fry Boulevard. The asphalt path is approximately 5,290 feet long and connects to Fry Boulevard through an existing landscape area that is located between South Garden Avenue and Buffalo Soldier Trail.

The City of Sierra Vista has been awarded a grant through the Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) and Award shall be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. This purchase is partially funded by the Federal Transit Authority as part of the 5307 Urbanized Area Formula Funding Program (49 U.S.C. 5307). This purchase will be subject to all applicable federal requirements of the grant under 2 CFR 200 and FTA Circular 4220.1F. Davis Bacon wages will apply, a DBE program goal of 2.20% will apply, and materials must comply with the Build America, Buy America Act.
