SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT



Location: 84 N. Aspen St., Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado 80011



1.0 SCOPE



The 460th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) requires the procurement of portable air conditioning units and all necessary accessories. These units will provide critical contingency cooling support for standard office environments within installation infrastructure.



2.0 REQUIREMENT OVERVIEW

3.0 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS



3.1 General Specifications (Applicable to All Units)




  • Physical Constraints: Units must not exceed 32 inches in width or 600 pounds in weight.

  • Operating Environment: Units must be rated for a standard office environment.

  • Acoustics: There is no maximum decibel rating.

  • Condensate Management: Units must be equipped with a detachable condensate tank (internal or external). A direct condensate drain line is an acceptable alternative.

  • Connectivity: All units must NOT have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth capabilities.



3.2 Item 1: Portable Air Conditioners (Quantity: 12)




  • Voltage: 115V, Single Phase, 60 Hz

  • Cooling Capacity: 12,000 - 18,000 BTUs



3.3 Item 2: Portable Air Conditioner (Quantity: 1)




  • Voltage: 208/230V, Single Phase, 60 Hz

  • Cooling Capacity: 60,000 BTUs (or closest available commercial equivalent)



3.4 Item 3: Portable Air Conditioner Duct Ceiling Kits (Quantity: 12)




  • Contents: Each kit must be compatible with the Item 1 units and include:


    • An 8-to-12-foot exhaust duct.

    • A ceiling replacement tile.

    • Duct hose clamps or ties to secure the ductwork.





3.5 Item 4: Spare Exhaust Ducts (Quantity: 2)




  • Description: These ducts will serve as spares for instances requiring a longer run.

  • Length: 8 to 12 feet each.

  • Compatibility: Must be identical to the exhaust ducts provided in the ceiling kits.



4.0 DELIVERY AND ACCEPTANCE



All materials must be delivered No Later Than 30 days after receipt of award. The Contractor shall deliver all items directly to Buckley Space Force Base and is responsible for complying with all 460th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) protocols for base access. Upon arrival, all items will be formally inspected and accepted by designated government officials.
