BRUNSWICK SITE ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT PROJECT

Sealed Proposals will be received by the City of Torrington, at the office of the City Purchasing Agent, City Hall, Room 206, 140 Main Street, Torrington, Connecticut until May 15, 2025 at 11:00 A.M., at which time and place they will be opened and reviewed. In the event of the closure of City Hall, the bid will be opened on the following business day at 11:00 AM when City Hall is open. No fax or e-mail Bids will be accepted.

Bidders must register on the City’s website at www.torringtonct.org/bids to download the bid documents under “OPEN BIDS”. Those without internet access may call (860) 489-2225 to request the bid documents. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the City Purchasing Agent no later than May 9, 2025 at 12 noon.

A pre-bid site walk will take place on the site at 10:00 A.M. on April 23, 2025, at 535 Migeon Ave, Torrington, CT 06790. Bidders are highly encouraged to attend the site walk but are not required to attend as a prerequisite to submitting a bid.

The City of Torrington reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, or to award the contract to a bidder other than the lowest bid, and to award the contract as it feels will best serve the public interest.

All bids will be considered valid for a period of ninety (90) days.
