Bruker MALDI Preventative Maintenance Service Agreements

The Minnesota Department of Health intends to enter an agreement with Bruker Scientific, LLC for the purchase of a service contract for two MALDI instruments in the Infectious Disease Laboratory.

This has been deemed a single source, as Bruker is the only company that can provide this service for our lab equipment due to warranty requirements, instrument specifications only known by Bruker, and minimal downtime for these instruments due to the critical nature of the work performed with these instruments. Bruker provided a Sole Source letter confirming that they are the sole provider authorized to service Bruker products.
