Brownsville Traffic Monitoring & Management of Signalized Roads

Project Description: It is the intent of the City of Brownsville, Texas, to solicit sealed competitive bids for the Traffic Monitoring and Management of Signalized Roads Project, funded through the RGVMPO Category 7 Surface Transportation Block Grant – Metropolitan Mobility (STBG-MM) Program. The City of Brownsville has been allocated STBG-MM funds and is issuing a Solicitation for Sealed Bids to solicit responses for a construction contract associated with traffic monitoring, detection, and management infrastructure at signalized intersections. The project aims to enhance real-time traffic operations, system performance monitoring, and data-driven traffic management. STBG-MM funds are provided as contract authority, and reimbursements are made through the Highway Trust Fund.
