Brooklet Lift Station (PE24229)

Sealed bids for construction of Brooklet Lift Station Project will be received until December 5th, 2024, 11 AM at the City of Brooklet City Hall at 104 Church Street, Brooklet, Georgia 30415. Bids may also be mailed to 104 Church Street, Brooklet, GA (Attn.: Lori Phillips) Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. Sanitary sewerage construction including lift station complete, manholes, 6¿ PVC, 18¿ PVC, 12¿ DIP, fencing, electrical work, emergency by-pass, connecting to 12¿ PVC forcemain, air release valve, fittings, aluminum hatch with safety grate, junction boxes, check valves, plug valves, interior liner of lift station, GAB, concrete, silt fence, and miscellaneous work. Time allotted for completion of work is two hundred forty (240) calendar days. Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents are on file at Parker Engineering, LLC. Copies may be obtained from Parker Engineering, LLC., 36 Courtland Street, Suite B, Statesboro, Georgia 30458, Phone: (912) 764-7722, Email: lindsey@parker-engineering.com, upon payment of $150.00 for each full-size set (non-refundable). The Scope of Work as described herein is defined as ¿utility contracting¿ in accordance with O.C.G.A 43-14-2(17) so the Contractor performing the work must provide proof of a valid license by the State of Georgia as a ¿Utility Contractor¿ and must also employ a ¿Utility Manager¿ certification holder who will have oversight of all the work. See Instruction to Bidders for additional bidding requirements. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier¿s check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. Funding is to be provided by the American Rescue Plan Act and the City of Brooklet. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities. Contractor shall comply with E-Verify regulations.
