Brookhaven Borough 2026 Street Resurfacing

Project Description: NOTICE TO BIDDERS
BOROUGH OF BROOKHAVEN
Online sealed bids for the 2026 Street Resurfacing Improvements will be received by Brookhaven Borough online via the PennBid Program at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com until 10:00 AM, on March 31, 2026 bids will be publicly read aloud at the Borough Council Meeting on April 6, 2026 at 7:00 PM.Base Bid items include 10,920 SY of milling, 245 SY of base repair and 1,130 TN of wearing course.

All Bid Documents, Construction Plans and Specifications are available online via the PennBid Program at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.comat no cost to prospective bidders.

The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay PennBid Program a fee of 1/4 % of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $150.00 and a maximum of $6,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid.

A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Brookhaven Borough, must accompany each bid.

Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid package, particularly to the PA Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price.

The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any informalities in the bidding as is in the best interest of the Borough.
