Description:

This project, located within Brookfield Park in the Township of Cherry Hill, Camden County, New Jersey, consists of the construction of a new playground, parking lot, fencing, and other amenities. Specifically, the contract includes, but is not limited to, the following major components:

Demolition of portions of existing wooded areas, utilities, and fencing.
Construction of a new playground area complete with 8” x 18” concrete vertical curb and a compacted stone base with underdrain system.
Furnishing and installation of playground equipment, engineered wood fiber and pouredin-place rubber surfacing by others.
Furnishing and installation of benches, picnic tables and waste receptacles by others.
Construction of a new curbed asphalt parking lot complete with ADA parking spaces.
Construction of new concrete sidewalks providing direct connections to the existing sidewalk located at the intersection of Oakdale Road and Ashbrook Road, the new parking area and the new playground.
Installation of new fencing and gates.
Various stormwater and site grading improvements to accommodate proper drainage around new improvements.
Grass restoration of all disturbed areas
