BRIDGE INSPECTION ACCESS EQUIPMENT AND MAINTENANCE AND PROTECTION OF TRAFFIC SERVICES FOR NBIS INSPECTION OF 2 PENNDOT DISTRICT 6-0 STATE-OWNED BRIDGES, MAY 2026, 25021-2026.003

Project Description: You are invited to provide a bid to provide bridge inspection access equipment and maintenance and protection of traffic services for the inspection of two (2) State-Owned Bridges in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Bids shall be on a unit price basis.
The Work is anticipated to begin and end in May 2026. Weekend work will be avoided when possible but may be required.
SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc. will receive Bids electronically via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 11:00 a.m. prevailing time on April 1, 2026. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. The Bid documents are available at no cost via the PennBid Program. The completed, signed bid forms and required attachments must be uploaded to the PennBid site in pdf file format. The total bid prices for each contract must also be entered into PennBid. Questions pertaining to any discrepancies or ambiguities in the Bid documents shall be directed to: PennBid – Messages/Vendor Discussions.
Please note the attached Exhibit D, Conrail Insurance requirement for any bidders. These are the minimum insurance requirement for Conrail for contractors but lower amounts may be acceptable at Conrail’s discretion. This is with the exceptions of Railroad Protective Liability Insurance as this will be purchased and procured by the Engineer for this agreement, and the Professional Liability will also be the responsibility of the Engineer for this agreement.
