This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

This is a small business opportunity, evaluated as lowest price technically acceptable; a firm, fixed price order is planned.

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Water Mission Area requires a new, Brand Name or Equal to Mirion Technologies (Canberra) Gamma Spectroscopy DSA-LX Digital Signal Analyzer in accordance with the attached technical specifications, provisions, and clauses.

Period of performance is only an estimate.

New equipment ONLY, NO grey market or refurbished products. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

All interested parties must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of submitting a quote to be considered for an award of a federal contract. For information, review the SAM website at https://www.SAM.gov.

Please submit a firm, fixed price quote and a technical description of the product(s)/service(s) being offered in sufficient detail, including product literature, references, and any other necessary documents. Along with your quote, please also provide the following:
1. Signed, standard form (SF) 18
2. Section 889: Signature and checkmarks required
3. SAM Unique Entity Identification (UEI) number
4. Place of Manufacture
5. Part or Item Numbers
6. Availability or delivery date

Quotations shall only be accepted by email to jongjoco@usgs.gov no later than 05/07/2025 at 1200 hours Eastern. Hardcopy shall not be accepted nor considered. It is the responsibility of all interested parties to check back periodically for any amendments to the solicitation. All amendments must be signed and included when the quote is submitted.
