Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City   Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 10:00 am local time for this project, at which time bids will be opened and read.

Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 10:00 am local time.

Project Scope:  The project consists of general site civil work to develop up to 19 pickleball courts in the location of the existing tennis courts adjacent to the Bowers Park pool. The project includes existing tennis courts demolition, fine grading, new concrete sidewalks, synthetic turf, two shade structures, an open air pickleball court structure, a new restroom facility, new water service, new sanitary sewer service, storm drainage improvements, and lighting and security upgrades.
Award of the contract will be made within fifty (50) calendar days from the date of the bid opening.

Plans and Specifications:  Plans and specifications and all related Contract Documents are open for public inspection at the office of TTL, Inc., located at 3200 Rice Mine Road NE Tuscaloosa, AL 35406 and  plans,  specifications  and  other  elements  of  the  contract  documents  may  be  obtained  from  the  office  of  the Engineer TTL, Inc., designated as the office of the awarding authority for this purpose, located at  3200 Rice Mine Road NE Tuscaloosa, AL 35406.  The contact person for the project is Adam Strachan, PE.  They can be reached at [email protected] .
