Boulevard of the Generals - Pedestrian Improvements

Project Description: West Norriton Township is proposing to install a pedestrian crossing at the existing bus stops (SEPTA Route 131) along Boulevard of the Generals, located approximately 450 feet east of Trooper Road (SR 0363). The project includes the installation of ADA curb ramps with bus shelter and landing area for bus patrons, a continental style crosswalk, a concrete median island with ADA curb ramps, pavement markings and signage. All material, labor, and equipment necessary shall be in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408, West Norriton Township Standards and the plans entitled Boulevard of the Generals Pedestrian Improvements, as prepared by Gilmore & Associates, Inc., dated January 8, 2026.
