Justification for sole/single-source acquisition:
Bosch Automative Solutions is the exclusive sole provider and manufacturer of the Crash
Data Retrieval (CDR) System. The purchase is for hardware to add to existing equipment
and software currently installed. The software is proprietary and protected under the
United States Copyright Act (17 U.S.C). The system provides law enforcement with
investigation access in traffic homicide cases.
Prospective suppliers shall provide information regarding their ability to supply the
commodities or contractual services listed above to Catrina Wilson, Procurement Manager
