Prisoners Legal Services is seeking proposals from qualified audit and accounting firms to provide bookkeeping catch-up services for approximately two years of financial data. The objective is to bring our books current and ensure accuracy and completeness in preparation for financial review and audit.

The selected firm will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and organizing financial documentation (bank statements, receipts, invoices, etc.)
- Entering and reconciling approximately two years of financial transactions in QuickBooks Desktop 2021
- Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
- Categorizing income and expenses appropriately
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies

- Fully updated QuickBooks Desktop 2021 file
- Reconciled bank and credit card accounts
- Categorized and verified transactions
- Summary of adjustments or corrections made

Please include the following in your proposal:
- Firm background and relevant experience with bookkeeping catch-up projects
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop 2021
- Proposed methodology and timeline
- Fee structure (hourly rate or flat fee)
- Key personnel assigned to the project
- References from similar engagements

Proposals will be evaluated based on:
- Experience and qualifications
- Understanding of project scope
- Proposed timeline and approach
- Cost-effectiveness
- References and reputation
