Bid Synopsis:	The Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Forensic Sciences (DFS) seeks a qualified vendor to provide specialized DNA analysis services for unidentified skeletal remains. These services support the work of the Wisconsin State Crime Laboratories in identifying unknown individuals through forensic DNA methods. Bone samples will be submitted by DFS or Wisconsin law enforcement agencies. The contracted vendor will be responsible for DNA extraction and profiling (autosomal, Y-STR, and mitochondrial, as needed), providing written reports, returning DNA extracts, and submitting eligible profiles for potential entry into Combined DNA Index System (CODIS). Optional services may include discovery documentation and analysis of additional remains.
