NOTICE TO PRE-QUALIFIED BIDDERS

Barr & Barr | Horus, serving as Construction Manager at Risk for the Erwin Montessori School

Project, is soliciting sealed proposals from pre-qualified subcontractors for the following bid

packages:

• 03A Structural Concrete

• 04A Masonry

• 05A Structural Steel

• 23B HVAC Equipment

• 26B Electrical Equipment

• 26C Generator

• 31A Earthwork & Site Utilities

Sealed proposals will be accepted only from pre-qualified firms and are due by 2:00 PM ET on

Wednesday, November 19th, 2025, at the Guilford County Schools Office, 714 Green Valley

Road, Greensboro, NC 27408. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately

thereafter. Bids submitted to any other location, including the architect’s or contractor’s office,

will not be accepted or considered

Bidders must comply with all requirements detailed in the Project’s General Requirements and

Trade Package Manuals. Incomplete or non-compliant proposals will not be accepted. If bid

packages cannot be publicly opened on the date and time specified in the advertisement, the bids

will be rejected or returned to the bidder and readvertised for competitive bidding at a later date

in compliance with statutory requirements.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, at The

Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship, 1451 S. Elm-Eugene Street, Greensboro, NC 27406.

Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs) are strongly encouraged to participate. All

participation must comply with North Carolina General Statutes.
