The New Bedford Housing Authority invites Contractors to submit Bids for NBHA 066 2024 Boiler Replacement Phase III at Presidential Heights with a general location of 159 Fillmore Street New Bedford MA 02746 in accordance with the documents prepared by McKinnell McKinnell and Taylor Inc.
The Project consists of demolition of existing cast iron boilers and selected accessories and installation of new condensing boilers and selected accessories. Installation of new louvers and exhaust fans at identified buildings. Work within buildings 11 through 20 inclusive shall form the bid. Construction cost is estimated at $850,000.00. All bidding Requests for Information shall be submitted online by 1.13.2025 at 4PM to Brian Morley at bmorley@mm-t.com. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A to J and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. This project is being electronically bid and hard copy bids will not be accepted. All Bids should be submitted online at www.biddocsonline.com and received no later than the date and time specified. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance DCAMM in Heating Ventilating Air Conditioning HVAC and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime General Contractor Update Statement. General Bids will be received until 23 January 2025 on 11:00AM EDT and publicly opened online forthwith. Filed sub bidders must be DCAMM certified for Plumbing Electrical and bidders must include a current DCAMM Sub Bidders Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Sub Bidders Update Statement. File sub bids will be received until 16 January 2025 on 11:00AM EDT and publicly opened online forthwith. General bids and sub bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than 5 percent of the greatest possible bid amount and made payable to the New Bedford Housing Authority.
