Body Worn Cameras (BWC), Tasers (CED), Vehicle In-Car Solutions, and the Software, Storage and Relevant accessories under the Sourcewell Contract 101223-AXN

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of body worn cameras (BWC), tasers (CED), vehicle in-car solutions, and the software, storage and relevant accessories from Axon through the Officer Safety Plan 7 (OSP7) under the Sourcewell contract 101223-AXN as a sole source because of its ability to meet compatibility requirements of an existing line of equipment. The OSP7 is awarded by Axon through the Sourcewell Video Surveillance solicitation for contract 101223-AXN. Axon is the sole source for the Taser 7 used by Oregon State University Department of Public Safety (DPS). The Taser 7 coupled with the Officer Safety Plan 7 (OSP7) provides key compatibility and communication between all products. Tasers also have compatibility with the current in-car video solutions also provided by Axon. Eliminating the Taser and choosing a different CED would provide limitations to the capture of critical video recordings. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
